Wow, the year has flown by. I'm not the only one who thinks so. Katie commented that it was just yesterday
she got her learners permit and look at her today a bona-fide licensed driver! Time is getting away from me, we still have
four girlies that need to have a date with one of our fetching bachelors next door. Four girls have already had their visits,
we will see those results in February, ug! I'm down to milking two ladies, Lyra and Ninja. Milk customers are getting a little
nervous about the supply, me too. These are both first year milkers so I'm not sure how long they will produce. I'm looking
forward to Christmas, we're making a lot of homemade goodies again this year. We will be butchering two boer goats soon.
I have mixed emotions about it. I've tried not to interact with them much, I pretty much feed them, give them a once
over and run away. Bob and a milk customer, Michael, will be doing the processing. I'm in charge of grinding and wrapping
meat. By the time it gets to me it will be easy, I won't recognize them. Hopefully this will be a positive experience. We
really do prefer goat over beef. We'll see.
